Designed and built an e-commerce website for an 8-year artistic project blending Montana history, music, and visual art - balancing artistic vision with business goals to drive gala ticket sales, pre-orders, and community engagement.

The Challenge


Cazador del Oso, a multidisciplinary artistic project 8 years in development, needed a digital platform to launch their first public release. The project weaves together visual art, music composition, and Montana history storytelling with aspirations to become a film production.

ZFunk Productions (the creator of Cazador del Oso) had a digital presence but no way to sell gala tickets, accept pre-orders for physical art and vinyl records, collect donations, or struggled to tell the story of their decade-long creative journey to their target audience of art enthusiasts and Montana history buffs.

Design and develop a storytelling-driven e-commerce website that thoughtfully honors the artistic vision while delivering seamless, intuitive purchasing experiences for gala tickets, products, and donations.

The Approach

As sole designer and developer, I drove the entire project from strategy through launch, collaborating directly with ZFunk Productions to translate their artistic vision into a functional, revenue-generating platform.

Discovery & Strategy

Conducted stakeholder workshops to understand the 8-year creative journey, target audience, and business goals. Defined three primary user journeys: gala attendees purchasing tickets, collectors pre-ordering art/music, and supporters/sponsors making donations. Each required different messaging, visual treatment, and conversion strategies.

IA & Content Strategy

Organized content to balance storytelling with conversion. Created a structure that led with the artistic narrative (Montana history, creative process, artist vision) while making revenue streams easily accessible without feeling transactional.

Visual Storytelling

Built on the vision of ZFunk Production to enrich the Cazador del Oso multimedia experience through an engaging digital platform. Leveraging the art, narrative, and music in thoughtfully integrated and compelling ways to deepen understanding of the event, strengthen audience connection, and drive increased interest and sales.
